Terms of Service

Please carefully read our terms of service before using our services. By creating an account on www.studioscribe.ai (whether free or paid), you fully and unreservedly accept these terms.

These terms may be updated at any time. The online version shall prevail.

1. Our Platform and Services

StudioScribe AI is an artificial intelligence-powered platform offering transcription services and educational content generation. Our features include:

  • Audio/video file upload
  • Automatic generation of transcriptions, summaries, study sheets and interactive quizzes
  • Transcription synchronization with original files
  • Multiple export formats
  • Advanced content processing and sharing options

These terms may be updated at any time. The online version shall prevail.

2. Free Trial, Subscription and Pricing

  • All new users benefit from a limited free plan (e.g. 30 minutes of automatic transcription). No payment is required to activate the trial. Once credits are exhausted, a subscription is necessary.
  • The Premium subscription is advertised as "unlimited", but subject to fair usage policy (50 hours per month).
  • Custom offers are available for professionals and institutions (higher volumes, API access, tailored services).
  • Subscriptions are monthly or annual, with automatic renewal. Payment is charged on the subscription date, then on the same date each month or year.

3. Multiple Accounts

Each user can only have one active account. Duplicate accounts may be deactivated without notice.

4. Refund Policy

  • A free trial is offered to test the service.
  • No refund will be granted in case of dissatisfaction with the results.
  • In case of proven technical problems, StudioScribe AI undertakes to resolve them or compensate for lost time.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started, even if no transcription has been performed.

5. Service Conditions and Limitations

We strive to ensure continuous service availability (24/7), without guaranteeing uninterrupted access.

Technical conditions:

  • Maximum file size: 5 GB
  • Maximum 10 files uploaded simultaneously
  • Maximum duration per file: 2 hours

Transcription quality depends on audio quality. No refund will be granted for poor quality files (noise, strong accents, overlapping voices).

6. Content Responsibility and Data Usage

User responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the content (courses, audios, videos, documents) they upload and use via StudioScribe. It is their responsibility to obtain all necessary authorizations (teacher, institution, copyright). StudioScribe AI cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or illegal use.

Authorized use

The service is intended for personal and educational use. Any use contrary to laws, third-party rights or best practices is prohibited.

Security and confidentiality

Transmitted data is used solely to provide transcription, summary, study sheet and quiz services. It is not resold to third parties. StudioScribe implements technical and organizational security measures (encryption, secure hosting, restricted access).

Educational clause

AI-generated transcriptions, summaries, study sheets and quizzes are study aids. They do not replace official teaching or personal notes, and StudioScribe assumes no responsibility for the student's academic success.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, by subscribing or using free credits, the user accepts immediate execution of the service and waives their right of withdrawal.

Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the courts of Lille shall have sole jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by law.
